Dutch private and commercial bank Van Lanschot is rolling out CRM technology from California-based Siebel Systems to 700 staff across its branch network.
The vendor says Van Lanschot will be implementing its Siebel Finance platform, which will initially be integrated with the bank's legacy back-office system. The software will provide Van Lanschot with integrated, financial services-specific analytics functionality.
The bank's three target groups are high net-worth individuals, midsize businesses, including family businesses and institutional investors. The new CRM technology will be used to increase cross-selling to existing clients and help in the acquisition of new customers.
Gerben van Gelder, policy and control manager, Van Lanschot, says: "In order to realise our growth targets, we have a particular need for sales support systems that can increase cross-selling to existing clients and help acquire new clients."
Deployment is scheduled for summer 2006.
