The bank initially purchased 180 Opteva through-the-wall, walk-up cash dispensers running on pre-packaged Agilis software - an open system that allows multiple vendors' terminals and technologies to co-exist on an ATM network and also supports features such as channel integration with Web services, personalised transactions and one-to-one marketing.

The vendor says that order was followed by an additional 125 Opteva units, bringing the bank's total number of ATMs to 700, 450 of which are Diebold terminals.

LBP will deploy the Diebold units across locations in major cities, rural towns and remote island communities throughout the country.
