India-based technology services provider GE Capital International Services (Gecis) is to distribute SmartStream Technologies TLM reconciliations and exceptions management product to its global client base.
Gecis - a joint venture between GE and private equity firms General Atlantic and Oak Hill Capital Partners - says the technology will initially be piloted with a key account before being rolled out to its clients.
With 17,000 employees, Gecis supports nearly 1000 processes at GE and serves global enterprises in the banking/finance, insurance, business services, and manufacturing sectors.
SmartStream says the technology will enable Gecis clients to manage reconciliation and exception processes for all transaction types. TLMR WebConnect, a thin client Web browser, will enable users to access the system worldwide.
Mohit Bhatia, SVP finance, Gecis, says TLMR "will help us achieve standardisation across reconciliation and exception management processes".
