Scotiabank has teamed with security technology firm McAfee to provide its online banking customers discounted anti-virus and firewall software.
Under the deal Scotia OnLine users will receive "a generous discount" on McAfee's VirusScan and Personal Firewall Plus products.
The products are offered at a discount for one-year subscriptions including automatic updates to the software during the subscription period. Scotiabank says a French version of VirusScan and Personal Firewall Plus will be available to bank customers in late July.
