Telecomms firm Colt has hired LogicaCMG's Terry Quigley to head up its newly-created European financial services team.
Quigley was previously global head of financial messaging at LogicaCMG. Prior to this he worked for NatWest and Royal Bank of Scotland where he held a number of senior positions in corporate banking, encompassing strategy, planning, sales and marketing.
Colt says its new team will provide dedicated services and support to financial services institutions in Europe.
The company is one of four network partners appointed by Swift to provide connectivity to the SwiftNet secure IP network. The firm says over 650 European Swift members have selected Colt as a network partner.
