After a one-time enrollment, Discover employees can use a simple finger scan to make cafeteria purchases - without their wallet or Discover Card - every time they pay.

The implementation at the Discover cafe follows a series of small-scale retailer pilots undertaken by the two firms since they announced a strategic alliance in August last year.

John Rogers, founder, chairman, and CEO of Pay By Touch, says: "Now that Discover employees are in the Pay By Touch network, they will be able to use it externally as we continue to expand the Pay By Touch offering with retailers across the country."
