UK banking group HBOS is installing Trintech's PayWare Resolve system to manage disputed card transactions and chargeback processes.
Trintech says the bank will use the technology to consolidate dispute management processes onto a single system.
The package automates exception management processes from end-to-end and includes compliance updates so that users are kept up to speed with the latest regulation changes, including Visa's re-engineering disputes (Red) programme.
John Capper, head of banking infrastructure, HBOS, says: "By using PayWare Resolve to centrally track and manage all disputed transactions, information is available instantly and processing errors are reduced."
