UK online bank Egg is installing Axway's application integration product, eXtended File Broker (XFB) to standardise its data management systems.
Egg will use the Axway system to integrate its AS/400, Unix and NT servers.
The vendor says the technology will help the bank manage the increasing amounts of data being transferred internally. The system will also provide a secure audit trail of all transactions.
The global monitoring and control tools from the Axway product will provide the bank with real-time and historical information from all data sources at a central point.
Information will be stored in a relational database. Bank staff will be provided with a filtered view of the data.
