Axway, a UK-based developer of application integration software, has launched its Axway for SwiftNet product which allows for the integration of Swift data into enterprise information system applications.
Axway says six major reference sites - Fortis Bank, San Paolo IMI, Crédit Agricole, Natexis Banque Populaire and RHB - have already signed up to the package.
The integration platform handles Swift data arriving into the enterprise information system and manages the transformation, transfer and monitoring of data exchanged across the Swift network. Axway says the product adapts technically to the varied architectures and infrastructures of information systems.
The product comprises of three modules - XFB for SwiftNet allows for the technical integration of SwiftNet data, Fin Adapter is used for the processing of Fin messages and validates, transforms and routes messages by providing specialised libraries, while Sentinel for SwiftNet monitors the life cycle of Swift data and also features an alarm function in case of errors.
Martin Stern, managing director of Axway UK and Ireland, says 2000 of the firm's 5000 enterprise users come from the banking industry: "The SwiftNet support now incorporated into the Axway range, coupled with Axway's powerful data flow management solutions, means our community of banking customers can rapidly integrate Swift service tools into their information system applications."
