Trade matching venture Omgeo has appointed Clearstream's Martin Brennan to the newly-created position of head of global sales and account management.
Brennan joins Omgeo from Clearstream International in Luxembourg where he worked for seven years. His last role there was as director of DBAG Group and head of origination at Clearstream Banking. Prior to this, Brennan was both director of sales, Europe and executive director of customer relations in Europe.
He has also has worked at Barclays Bank where he held senior positions in the retail banking strategic business unit, global securities services and electronic banking.
At Omgeo Brennan will be responsible for managing sales, account management, partners and integration services organisations. In particular, he will drive Omgeo's efforts to devise client-focused solutions, as well as having responsibility for devising sales strategies.
Brennan will be based in London and will report directly in to Adam Bryan, president and CEO, Omgeo. He will be a member of the executive team.
