Trade matching venture Omgeo has appointed Tony Freeman as director of European industry relations.
Freeman brings over 20 years of operational systems analysis and development experience, as well as tenure within product management.
He joins Omgeo from JPMorgan Investor Services, where he held a number of positions - from vice president of product management to senior relationship manager for the bank's financial institutions group.
Prior to this, Freeman was with Isma, the regulatory body and trade association for the Eurobond market, building the account management and sales function of the association.
At Omgeo, Freeman will be responsible for working with European clients, industry regulators and the client advisory board. He will report directly to Richard Hughes, MD, Omgeo, EMEA.
