The bank will use the package to support the development of new functions for its multi-vendor network of 300 cash machines.

The vendor's ATM Developer application will allow the bank to design and customise ATM content, while the ATM Simulator system will be used to automate regression testing for new ATM software and hardware.

The EMV FastTrack module enables the testing of EMV-ready ATM downloads and will allow the bank to automate testing direct from the card, tracing the transactions through the ATM and the ACI Base24 host system. ANB will also use the 3DES FastTrack system to simulate and test the cryptography introduced to meet requirements for the Triple DES security standard and ATM remote key management. Compliance with Span2, the migration of the Saudi national debit card scheme to EMV will also be supported.

Osman Mehta, Middle East regional manager, Level Four Software, says: "Arab National Bank will save both time and money through using our automated testing tools, while gaining a greater level of control and flexibility for future additions to its multi-vendor ATM network."

The bank is Level Four's third new customer in the region this year.
