European treasury management software vendor Trema has appointed Bill Riffert as executive vice president and general manager for the Americas.
Riffert joins Trema from Random Walk Computing, where he was general manager with responsibility for growing the firm's nascent business in the North East region.
Prior to this, he was vice president and general manager of Tibco Finance Technology's (TFTI) North American operation, responsible for all sales, support and professional services.
Trema acquired the assets of Canadian cash management company, Alterna Technologies, in March this year as part of an ongoing effort to break into the North American market.
