Trema has appointed Régis Castagné as general manager for the Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
Castagné joins Trema from GL Trade where he was sales director, Southern Europe, responsible for regional offices in Paris, Brussels, Madrid, Geneva and Johannesburg.
Prior to this he worked at Standard & Poor's institutional market services department where he was general manager for continental Europe and the Middle East .
In his new role, Castagné will focus on expanding the vendor's market presnece in France, Switzerland, Italy and Spain. Trema says Southern Europe is a key market and the next step in its growth strategy.
The hiring of Castagné follows a series of strategic regional appointments by Trema, including Rudi Schlett as general manager for Central Europe and Thomas Bergqvist as general manager for Northern Europe.
