ArcaEx says the new site, dubbed ArcaVision, introduces "a new level of stock exchange-provided real-time and historical information".

Access is through a public Web site, with more robust functionality available via a free subscription to ArcaVision. Additionally, ArcaEx clients, are offered a private, password-protected site that lets them monitor their own trading activity and detail. Subscribers can also customise the data to suit their specific needs.

"As an all-electronic exchange, we feel that ArcaEx has a significant technology edge that we've applied in developing our new website," said Steve Rubinow, chief technology officer of Archipelago. "We can now offer traders and issuers real-time information and analysis and can deliver it in a way that allows them to tailor and customise the data to meet their specific needs."

The information available includes current and historical trading activity, risk management tools, customisable reports that allow users to view information on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annual basis, real-time market alerts on stock price or volume changes and ArcaEx and market wide market share for all and individual stocks. A database of company information also provides a direct link to the ArcaEx order book for immediate execution.
