India's Jammu and Kashmir Bank has contracted with Diebold for the provision of remote monitoring and management of its network of 110 ATMs.

Under the contract, Diebold's monitoring centre in Mumbai will be used to predict the needs of the bank's ATM network for cash replenishment and track performance. Transaction data is transmitted to a central location for reconciliation and settlement.

The Jammu and Kashmir Bank's ATM network was supplied by Diebold and includes a solar-powered machine at Leh.
