Oracle says partner vendors joining the programme will be able to incorporate unstructured data, such as images and voice, in their payment processing systems. This capability will enable payments processors to create a single copy of images and data instead of having to create and store multiple copies of a transaction.

NetDeposit will integrate the Oracle technology with its Check 21 applications while Fiserv subsidiary Imagesoft will incorporate the software with its cheque imaging products.

Pegasystems and Synoran will also integrate the Oracle systems with their payments technology, while Network Appliance will work with Oracle to deliver storage management systems based on its NetAppFAS and NetApp NearStore products which map to the processes involved in cheque truncation, imaging, clearing, settlement and archiving.
