Indian software vendor Infosys is working to integrate the Finacle core banking system with Oracle's E-business Suite of applications for marketing to banks in the Asia Pacific region.
Infosys and Oracle Asia Pacific say the joint initiative will provide the region's banks with a pre-integrated solution stack that can be implemented quickly and offers low total cost of ownership.
The Oracle applications that are part of the deal include Oracle General Ledger and Oracle Financial Services Applications running Oracle9i Real Application Clusters (RAC).
Martin Fernandes, VP and head of sales and marketing at Infosys' banking business unit says: "This association with Oracle allows us to address the needs of banks in the Apac region more effectively."
