The Society is using Interact, the Web banking module from Lynx's retail banking system, Summit, to manage its new online services.

Customers can now check balances, transfer money between accounts, set up standing orders and one off payments on the bank's Web site.

Universal currently uses Lynx's Summit platform to support its savings and mortgage accounts. Commenting on the new implementation, Steve Watchman, general manager, operations, Universal, says: "It was important for things to be as seamless as possible with our internal systems."
