Summit will manage the Society’s full mortgage application processing and post completion administration, together with all aspects of savings account administration. Lynx says the software will enable end-to-end processing throughout the lifecycle of the mortgage, beginning with any quotation, through to application and completion stages and followed by the ongoing administration of each mortgage.

The Society will also upgrade its branch support system across all 13 branches and Mortgage Shop using the Summit module, Frontline. Project implementation commenced June 2003 with an expected completion date of January 2005.

Peter Rowley, chief executive of the Darlington says the Society expects to see a number of benefits once the implementation is complete, including a single customer view for front-line point-of-sale staff, straight-through processing of all customer data and an increase in cross-sales through improved customer segmentation and data mining.
