French banking group Société Générale has licensed NEOMAlogic's Web-based Global Trade Portal to provide online trade finance services to its corporate customers.
The group will use the online platform to enable customers to manage and process letters of credit, guarantees and forfaiting requests.
Daniel Le Strat at Société Générale, says: "Our goal is to offer our corporate customers, importers and exporters, a technologically advanced solution allowing them to initiate and manage the complete life cycle of their trade finance transactions."
Paris-based NEOMAlogic says its Global Trade Protal can be interfaced with a bank's existing core systems and clients' enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications.
