Société Générale licenses Surecomp package for trade finance

Société Générale has licensed Surecomp's NetImex system to provide corporate customers with Web access to trade finance transactions and to receive copies of documents and transaction status directly from the bank's back office system.

The NetImex package will also be used by the bank's corporate clients to extract a range of inquiries and reports for integration with their internal systems.

Daniel Yver, global head of commodities & trade finance IT, Société Générale, says following the roll out of NetImex, the bank plans to consolidate its trade finance operations both in France and worldwide.

Société Générale completed a global roll out of Surecomp's IBSnet product last year and also uses Surecomp's Perfect Match confirmation matching system to control operational and settlement risk at its New York office.
