The two Nordic banks are working with TietoEnator, WM-data Novo and the OP Group to roll out the online salary concept, with the vendors taking responsibility for data transfer and storage, utilising existing Internet bank security technology.

The service provides employees with a single location to view and archive their pay slips and contact the payroll office with queries. Employers will also save on reduced material, printing and distribution costs of paper pay slips, say the partners.

Other banks and payroll software providers have been invited to join the programme.
