Panama-based Banco General is teaming with First Data to establish a card processing centre that will provide outsourced services to financial institutions across Latin America and the Caribbean.
The new centre, called Procesa, is located in Panama City and utilises First Data's transaction processing platform, VisionPlus.
Procesa currently has 15 clients but plans to expand its presence by delivering products and services customised for the Latin America and Caribbean marketplace.
