Zimbabwe's NMB Bank has licensed the eChannels and eCorporate applications from Infosys' Technologies' reatil banking suite, Finacle.
NMB Bank says Finacle eChannels will be used to introduce online banking services to customers while the eCorporate software will be used to provide Web-based corporate banking, cash management and trade finance services.
Otto Chekeche, financial director, NMB Bank, says: "Powered by a global banking solution like the Finacle banking e-platform, NMB Bank will be able to realise the benefits of an integrated delivery channel strategy, reduce costs, speed up time-to-market and make our business processes more efficient."
India-based Infosys says the contract marks its entry into Zimbabwean market.
