Jay Spencer has been appointed chief information officer at interdealer broker Icap.
Spencer was previously chief technology officer at BrokerTec Global, the screen-based bond trading platform that Icap acquired in May.
As CIO, Spencer will be in charge of 300 staff worldwide looking after Icap's electronic and voice broking operations.
