London-based interdealer broker Icap is rolling out ePulse's SentinelPlus market data monitoring and management software across its global operations.
The software was selected after trials at the broker's London operation, where it provides monitoring of Unix-based systems running the Moneyline Telerate Trading System (MTRS).
City-based ePulse says SentinelPlus allows the broker to monitor and manage systems from any location and includes customisable alerts.
The software will be installed across Icap's London and New York offices and extended to interface with related PC-based systems.
Warren Cranwell, IT manager, Icap, says: "The key differentiator of the ePulse software is that its interface is browser-based, allowing any authorised user to manage the system from anywhere in the Icap extranet."
SentinelPlus is a monitoring and management system for market data distribution systems and supports Reuters' Triarch and TIB/RV platforms as well as MTRS.
