UK derivatives trading systems vendor Patsystems is to provide its clients with an interface to IFX Markets' Internet-based foreign exchange trading platform, IFX Direct.
IFX makes markets in spot FX, forward FX and EFPs. The interface, called IFX Adaptor, will connect straight to IFX's electronic matching engine.
Kevin Ashby, CEO of Patsystems, says multi-asset execution is increasingly the goal for trading platforms: "Derivatives, equities, foreign exchange, bonds and other asset classes have different delivery platforms. Customers are demanding convergence, and that's what we aim to provide."
The vendor will launch IFX Adaptor early next year.
