London-based Aconite is launching smartprocess, a complete transaction, script management and testing system for chip cards, aimed at financial institutions and retailers migrating to EMV standards.
Smartprocess delivers EMV transaction processing, payment capabilities for POS terminals, post-issuance script management, testing and diagnostics, and card upgrade and repair.
Aconite says the system exploits the benefits that can be derived from the move to smart cards, including fraud reduction, bad debt reduction and risk management.

The software will be showcased at this year's Cartes exhibition and tradeshow in Paris.
