London-based EMV and smart card software vendor Aconite is to open an office in Dubai to support its partners in the Middle East region.
The new office will be based in Dubai Internet City and headed by Bev Stevens, director of Aconite's Middle East division.
Aconite says the new operation, which is its first major overseas investment, strengthens its aggressive expansion plans in the Middle East region, where it is working with partners to support the growing need for EMV software and consulting in financial institutions across UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan and Syria.
