Jordan's Export and Finance Bank has licensed Dublin-based CR2's Bankworld Internet application to provide its customers with online banking services.
BankWorld Internet is a secure Web banking system, designed for financial institutions that want to roll out e-banking services to customers quickly.
Amani Ayoubi, assistant general manager, special projects, Export and Finance bank, says the bank expects to launch its Internet channel by the close of the calendar year.
"We want our customers to realise the value of online banking. Having a system that is proven, reliable and quick to install was key to our decision in the selection of CR2's e-banking application," says Ayoubi.
In addition to Bankworld Internet, the bank will implement CR2's two-way SMS notification system, trade finance software and data management application.
