Dublin-based retail banking technology vendor CR2 is releasing a new version of its multi-channel banking package, BankWorld Channel Manager.
Version 2.2 of the package features improved services including electronic bill presentment and a two way SMS notification system that allows banks to accept and respond to customer requests - such as account balances - via SMS messaging.
The new release also includes multi regional support, allowing banks to access a single central installation BankWorld across a number of locations, while extended security features have been added to the administration tools used to manage the system.
In addition, the system contains transaction filtering which allows clients to determine the filtering criteria, and a group payments feature allows transactions to be applied across multiple accounts. Banks can also use the package to alter foreign exchange rates by customer type and value. The software also provides a single view of customer information across all the bank's host systems.
