UK STP vendor SmartStream Technologies has won SwiftReady Gold accreditation for its trade finance product range for the fifth consecutive year.
SmartStream's Trade Finance package enables banks to automate the processing of documentary business.
To qualify for the Gold label, SmartStream demonstrated that its system met with the specific set of criteria linked to the support of SwiftFin messages and other Swift functionality.
SmartStream's appearance at Sibos this year comes on the back of a recent event in which the company gathered some 50 financial institution representatives to discuss the way forward in the post-execution trade management space with the new FIX 4.4 (Financial Information Exchange) protocol.
The vendor says it will further demonstrate its solutions for post trade messaging and FIX 4.4 during Sibos week on stand no. 4040.
Says Lee Adams, principal consultant, SmartStream Technologies: "We've already modelled and demonstrated our process flow technology on the new FIX standard and we are ready to put it into practice today."
