The UK's Halifax Bank has processed more than £10 billion worth of home loans since it launched its online e-trading facility for intermediaries in January this year.

The online service provides intermediaries with connectivity to the Halifax mortgage sales platform, an instant decisions in principle DIP facility, real-time case tracking, e-mail updates and the ability to pay valuation fees with debit or credit cards.
