Getronics will be exhibiting its new Financial Message Broker (FMB) product for the first time at this years Sibos exhibition and tradeshow in Singapore.
FMB provides network connectivity and messaging for SwiftNet Fin as well as other market infrastructures. The product integrates domestic and cross-border transactions and also supports anti-money laundering applications
The XML-based messaging system has already been implemented at Japan's Service Bureau to provide local financial institutions with access to SwiftNet Fin, and is due to go live in November 2003.
Getronic says FMB aims to reduce ongoing operational costs by eliminating redundant message-handling processes.
