Great blog Andy - We've been trialing the connectivity of SWIFT's international payments network with their real-time payments platform (New Payments Platform - NPP) for at least 18 months.  It's a natural extension and the messaging is ready to go.  But the challenges as usual are in payment certainty, identity verification,payment routing, AML/CTF and regulatory compliance.  Fix these problems before you submit the payment and the solution becomes a real challenge to all others...
