I wonder what, precisely, is meant by "the branch based model" in this article. I assume it doesn't mean that industry executives are predicting the end of branches because that is not going to happen (certainly not within five years). Rather, it's likely we will see fewer branches but those that remain will be developed into one of several 'personas' depending on location and demographics of expected customers.
