Why Disaster Recovery was not invoked as services were down for mroe than 10 hours?
If disaster recovery site also was not working to create such large outage window, hope bank will rationalise on it's DR BCP strategy.

Some of the payment technology experts and bankers leaving Russia is not surprise as Russia faced embargos from rest of the world as external support to the war. These experts dwell in global scenario which no longer existed.
Just wanted to share one thing about significance of Cash in war situation where most of the bank's IT systems, telecom network, supermarket POS machines/checkouts has gone haywired leaves for common people on street to use cash :)
Experts like you will be needed to your country to build next generation payment system in peace time (Pray that it comes sooner) post war.

Increase in acquiring fee for UK shoppers for VISA card purchase is collateral damage of Brexit and more of business call whether VISA and Amazon like to create more inconvenience to VISA card holders and thus the issuers i.e. banks in UK issuing cards are getting affected.
Solution can be as simple as VISA and Amazon ask banks to issue co-branded VISA cards which will have low processing fee :)

2018 - 2019 was the only time available to ING for leveraging the business and decide further action for growth but I feel it's pandemic which did not allow to build further growth story.
By the time, ING come out of scams and throw away loss making part they did not left with anything.
Wirecard had several good technology platform which were acquired but surprise to see PayVision closing down with those technology innovation.
