Is MediaTek following in steps with Hitachi ( Hitachi acquiring White Lable ATM player in India Prizm) to get foothold of it's technology in India's payments space? Great move but hope MediaTek knows that PayTM is adopting Alibaba's Sound wave based payments (Pilots started in June 2016).

Is CMA taken this action in light of EU puts Apple's penalty for Ireland taxation penalty? or wants to delay the M&A process ??

All 5 areas of Mobile based payments have scored below 5 marks espcially coupons/incentives and Feedback scores Zero or 1 on scale of 10.

I think its better to wait for Ver 2.0 of Walmart Pay with some common features and hopefully training given to staff for handling it at check out.

Good move using mVISA - specially cash with out ATM network.

Thanks Ketharaman for sharing it. There is logical reasoning to it and learned something new about survey results maths.

Two missing links I can see:

1. Business case missed by the bankers, MNOs and TRAI. They could have promoted public utility companies (Electric, Gas, Water, Govt taxes) to build such transaction channels.

2. Those who build never did proper Customers Awearness which is another the missing link - I don't see any customer communication using various channels - Print, TV, Branch officers/clerks or ATMs showing any ad campign.

Most banks even do not bother to send single SMS per month or quarter to build communication. 

There is opportunity - Fintech in India can come up with some useful USSD based services and leverage existing one ofcourse E-Commerce companies can also explore it.

Brexit effect is diminishing it seems. Token has shown lot of promising aspects for payments transaction processing.

Rocket Internet will use money from Jabong - All cash deal with Flipkart for this new venture. Wish success !!!

Is this findings can be genuine feeling for million mass from the survey of 1000 to 2000 citizens of mix of various age group  (not considering education, geography, technology usage, income and other factors) as sample size for survey ?
