I have to admit that this story has me confused.
MPayMe does essentially what Powa does but has been in the game longer and has established customer relationships.
So, why is Powa valued at 30 times the worth of MPayMe?

The authors have clearly never visited Asda on Saturday afternoon. M-POS has plenty of uses but the form factor (two devices, small buttons etc) doesn't work in most retail applications.

The central problem for retail is not how to communicate with customers but what to say to them. iBeacons offer just one more option for the former but don’t make any contribution to solving the latter. Oh, and they're not secure enough for payments.
