Really good points and wonderful article. I liked the point of 'banks should rely on personas rather than rules to help identify suspicious activity in financial data'. Though earlier this was cumbersome but now with technology, this can be done easily.

Really good points. I will add that bank should also allow user to (easily) configure their dashboard. You point related to balance ( which many times contains of various balances) is bang on. Many times, customer don't want to check balance, he want to know, how much more he can spend. Things like these should be considered.
