The Scandanavian market has always been inward looking. I suspect this is the thin part of the wedge so it will be interesting to see if the regulators really want to open up their markets to foreign competion. Ironic as they are happy to come and play in our open markets?

You can understand he banks position here. It has assessed the credit risk of an individual and BNPL add another layer of risk. There is however a simple solution for customers. Just use a different credit card?
