We've unleashed another exciting update to the Community Section of Finextra. Call me Ebeneezer, if you will, but just because Christmas is around the corner, I don't think it's time yet to allow the Finextra web team to slacken off.
When you go to your private Member Profile section (click on your name in the Community tab), you will now see a new section, at the top of the page, that will allow you to share your thoughts. This is functionality reminiscent of, "Status Updates" on other
social networking sites.
Rest assured that soon I will unshackle the Finextra manacles and allow the team a well earned Christmas break.
After the New Year we hope to integrate some other social-networking functionality however - more on that in January.
