So after a 4.5 mile hike through the snow from Battersea to St Martins Lane, which took over 2.5 hours, I finally made it to Finextra HQ. Happy to report the rest of the Finextra sales team made it in as well and we're here to answer all your advertising, lead generation, events and marketing questions!

I thought I'd share some photos of my journey on Facebook for any Facebook users as you don't get snow in London like this very often! I've never seen anything like it in the 11 years I've lived here. So much for global warming eh!

Thanks Pete - took it with the iPhone - it's such a great bit of kit and if I get lost in a blizzard on my way home tonight I can use my GPS application to navigate my way home!

You clearly had a painful journey (if scenic!). Out of interest any specific reason for not simply working from home and getting that time back?

Good question Robert. It's our Finexpo event on Thursday so we have a number of tasks to do before the event, which involved having to be in the office including collating 250 delegate packs, which couldn't be done from home!
