Four Key Payments Conferences to Attend in 2023

Be the first to comment

Thousands of industry experts and fintech leaders will come together at the upcoming payment conferences of 2023. The entire payments ecosystem is changing, and the following conventions are tailor-made to address issues such as innovation, digital transformation, and consumer behavior. The most critical topics facing the industry in a rapidly evolving business world include customer experience, the future of credit/debit cards, BNPL (Buy Now Pay Later), fraud and security, cryptocurrency, SMS payments, identity, and the future of rewards.

The global payments industry recently enjoyed a rebound in 2021 following the onset of the pandemic crisis in 2020 which set off a major decline. The five-year outlook by McKinsey & Company exceeds prepandemic expectations, topping $3 trillion by 2026. (Source: McKinsey & Company)

Here are the four key payments conferences to attend this year:

2023 Payments Summit: Hosted by the Secure Technology Alliance and its U.S. Payments Forum, the summit gathers professionals for one of the most comprehensive payment industry events. It takes place February 27 – March 2 in Salt Lake City and brings together fintech disruptors, payment system providers, payment networks and others who are crucial to the industry.

TRANSACT: Powered by ETA takes place April 24-26 at the Georgia World Conference Center in Atlanta. The buzzworthy payments event will address topics focused on innovation, opportunity, and transformation as well as insight into security, risk and compliance, crypto, Web3 and the Metaverse.

Transform Payments USA 2023: A Reuters event, Transform Payments USA brings together a forum of senior executives June 13-14 in Austin to discuss the future direction of the payments industry. Thought leaders will explore the innovations that enable money to move in new ways and visualize how the world pays moving forward.

 • Money20/20 USA: Representatives of more than 3,000 companies are expected to attend the conference that takes place October 22-25 in Las Vegas. The global event examines the fintech ecosystem and the future of business, enabling payments and financial services innovation for connected commerce. This conference sets the stage for leaders with innovative ideas to share their stories, learnings, and perspectives. All of these conferences are forward-thinking and comprehensive when it comes to taking a deep look at what is happening in the payments industry today. Other events that may not be so obvious to attend are those in industry verticals such as SEMA, the premier auto trade show geared to help small businesses thrive and succeed. It debuts new, innovative products, and connection opportunities with industry buyers from all over the world.

It’s important to attend, engage, and learn from the takeaways that thought leaders will discuss at each event. It’s only by acting on what we learn that enables growth and success.
