Could your next job be in space?

Ever dreamt of going into space? Well now you might just have a chance! The European Space Agency has announced that it is looking for new astronauts and that they want the right staff rather than the “Right Stuff”. The attributes they are looking for in a new recruit include a science or engineering degree, some competency in Russian and the ability to be a good team player. Experience as a pilot is also an advantage! If you’re lucky enough to be chosen for one of the four positions out of an expected 50,000 applicants, you’ll have to undergo over three years of training before you (possibly) embark on a space mission. So if you fancy making the most of your skills and are up for the challenge, this may be your ideal opportunity!
