This is an interesting piece – to date much commentary has been about how new entrants, being more agile, are eroding the business of traditional large banks. Brigid is absolutely right in that established banks have scale and a lot of valuable data. But do they all really take advantage of this? From my experience there is a lot to learn from new entrants to the banking industry, which are taking advantage of digitization to launch disruptive new business models.
