Some things never seem to change: If Google went that far back, I'd have been able to pull up a few similar articles from ~30 years ago, which is when I first started selling and marketing technology to banks. But that'd be like a lamp calling a pot black: The Sales-Marketing Misalignment in my industry arguably dates even earlier!
