eThe collaboration aims to offer Rubean’s PhonePOS, a Software Point of Sales (SoftPOS) solution designed for Android devices, to partners and merchants in the UK and Europe.

This partnership strengthens the solutions provided by emerchantpay and Rubean AG, extending their reach to merchants and partners across the UK and Europe. With this collaborative effort, emerchantpay’s partners can leverage the benefits of integrating PhonePOS with their existing Android applications.

PhonePOS is a versatile solution suitable for various sectors, allowing businesses to accept card payments on Android devices without the need for additional hardware, ultimately enhancing customer experiences. It supports card payments, popular mobile wallets, and high-value transactions requiring a PIN.

The SoftPOS solution offers flexibility, low upfront costs, and ease of use with familiar devices, making it increasingly popular among merchants. Research by Juniper predicts that the global number of merchants using SoftPOS solutions will reach 34.5 million by 2027.

The launch of the SoftPOS solution comes at a crucial time, aligning with the growing demand for SoftPOS ahead of the new year. The potential of SoftPOS to disrupt conventional card present payment models adds to the interest in this innovative solution.

Jon Horddal, Chief Product Officer at emerchantpay, expressed enthusiasm, stating, “SoftPOS is not just a payment solution; it’s a leap forward for customer and merchant convenience. With this new solution, we’re looking forward to contributing to the bright future of more flexible, scalable, and customer-centric POS payments.”

Dr. Hermann Geupel, CEO at Rubean AG, shared his excitement about the partnership, saying, “We’re excited to partner with emerchantpay and make on-the-go payments easier for businesses across the UK and Europe. Our shared vision for growth and commitment to customer excellence make this collaboration a perfect match. Together, we are enabling businesses to tap into the world of mobile payments with PhonePOS and reach new heights of growth.”
