Adyen appoints Nicole Olbe from Barclays as UK managing director

Adyen, the global financial technology platform of choice for leading enterprise businesses, has today announced the appointment of Nicole Olbe as Managing Director of its UK operations.

Nicole joins from Barclaycard Payments after a 10-year tenure in multiple leadership roles across payments integrations and commercial roles most recently leading the Payments Partnership’s division as Managing Director. She brings expertise in Payment Acceptance including PSPs, Point of Interaction (POI), software partner ecosystems, B2B and acquiring. She joins Adyen with over twenty years of experience within the financial services sector, covering strategy, solution delivery and commercial management on an international scale.

A proud advocate of DE&I in the Finance and Technology sector, Nicole sits on the advisory board of Women in Payments EMEA, a global organisation of women from across the payments and fintech industry united by a shared vision for gender parity.
